Girl Up Campus Leaders and college students looking to join Girl Up Campus are invited to attend the first-ever Campus Leader Symposium from October 1-2, 2016 in Washington DC. The symposium will include inspiring speakers, roundtable discussions and networking opportunities, all aimed at helping you build a successful movement on your campus.
The symposium, beginning Saturday morning and concluding Sunday early afternoon, will cover topics such as growing your membership, building a presence on your campus and creating successful partnerships. Learn from your peers who will spotlight what has worked (and what hasn’t) with their own student org. You will also hear directly from Girl Up staff about the impact Girl Up is making through our UN partnerships around the globe, and how your campus can be part of our upcoming initiatives.
Featured guest speakers during the event include:
Kate Loomis, External Relations Associate, UNHCR
Lisa Napper, White House Champion of Change, It’s On Us
Kayla Webley, Senior Editor, Marie Claire
If you’re looking to take your campus to the next level—and make the biggest impact for girls around the world, you won’t want to miss out. Space is limited so register today!
